Electoral officials, Fernandez discuss details prior to Sunday’s polls

Santo Domingo.- President Leonel Fernandez met with the members of the Central Electoral Board in the National Palace Thursday night, just four days before the May 20 elections for the presidency and overseas deputies.

The JCE officials provided the Head of State with the final details on the polls on Sunday to choose the new national authorities and diaspora legislators.

Roberto Rosario, Cesar Feliz, Graciano Rosario, Eddy Olivares and Jose Angel Aquino arrived in the National Palace at 7:59pm, in the JCE’s traditional visit to the chief executive, to inform him on preparations leading to the elections
