Rain for most of the country through the weekend

Santo Domingo.- The National Meteorology Office (Onamet) forecasts an increase in rains into the weekend, including election day Sunday.

It said the low pressure system over the country will bring precipitation with humidity and higher temperatures.

Onamet said downpours can be expected over the border zone and central region.

The downpours over Greater Santo Domingo began dawn Friday, while the rest of the country can expect mostly clear skies and few probabilities of rain.
