Yzaguirre lauds the work by Electoral Board, OAS observers

Santo Domingo.- United States ambassador Raul Yzaguirre Sunday night praised Dominican Republic’s electoral process and the work by the Central Electoral Board, calling it efficient.

The diplomat said the work by the JCE and the observers of the Organization of American States concluded positively with the close of the polls.

“Long live democracy,” Yzaguirre said, accompanied by Commercial attaché Christopher Lambert. “We have confidence in the OAS and the work they are doing in the observation of this process.”
