Electoral Board officially declares Medina president-elect

Santo Domingo.- Central Electoral Board (JCE) resolution 30 issued Monday officially declares ruling PLD party ticket Danilo Medina, President and Margarita Cedeño Vice president elect, on the definitive and valid final tally of 51.21% in the May 20 polls.

Moreover resolution number 31 declares winners as Overseas deputies-elect for benches in the U.S., Jose Ernesto Morel, Rubén Luna, and Delis Olivo, of the opposition PRD party, and Alfredo Azcona and Levis Suriel, of the PLD.

For benches in Europe were elected Marcos Cross (PLD) and Agustín Mercedes (PRD).
