Repairs shutter 2 lanes of the capital’s longest bridge

Santo Domingo.- The Public Works Ministry closed two east-west lanes of the Juan Bosch bridge today, to replace the structure’s rubber and steel-reinforced joints.
It said the measure seeks to provide give motorists a safe and fast way to enter and exit the city, adding that the lanes will be closed from 10 am to 5 am the next day ruing one month, to install the 31 new joints.
Public Works added that the group Odebrecht is in charge of the work on the infrastructure.
