Scattered showers, thunderstorms, except the sunny SE

Santo Domingo.- The National Meteorology Office forecasts scattered showers and thunderstorms in the afternoon and early evening for all regions, except the southeast.

It said temperatures will remain high and warns against prolonged exposure to sunlight.

It adds that the tropical wave over western Jamaica left some humidity, while the Caribbean coast still has higher than normal waves, for which small craft are advised to remain close to shore.
