Widely scattered showers, high temperatures through Sunday

SANTO DOMINGO. – The weather over Dominican territory will have few changes in rainfall during the next 24 to 48 hours, the National Meteorological Office forecast Saturday.

It said however that the humidity from the prevailing Southeast wind and a trough still north of the country could increase cloudiness and scattered showers in the north, northeast, southeast, Central Mountains and the border area.

It adds that temperatures will be seasonably high and recommends drinking plenty of liquids and avoiding prolonged exposure to the sun.
