Scattered showers, thunderstorms, high temps

Santo Domingo.- The National Meteorology Office forecasts showers with thunderstorms Monday afternoon and early evening, from a tropical wave approaching from the east.

It said the showers could be more intense over the Southeast, Northeast, Central Mountains, Cibao valley and border zone.

Meteorology said the seasonably high temperatures will continue except at night, from the wind and rains.

It adds that small draft should remain close to shore along the Caribbean Coast, on higher than normal waves.
