Police clash with student protesters, three wounded

Santo Domingo.– The protests that went on yesterday in the central campus of the Santo Domingo State University’s (UASD) left three wounded, an SUV on fire and several vehicles partially damaged.

The riot started at 5 pm, after the University Council approved expelling eight students from the main headquarters and suspended three from the regional University Center in San Francisco de Macoris.
