Los Angeles area law enforcers seek bipolar Dominican mom fled with 2 boys

Santo Domingo.- The Carson County Sheriff’s Office and other Southern California law enforcers conduct a massive search for Dominican Republic national Rachel Ann Guerrero, 30, who fled with her two children June 22, when she had to hand them over to their grandmother, because they’re aren’t under the mother’s custody.

An arrest warrant was issued a few days after she fled and authorities caution on Guerrero’s bipolar condition, one of the reasons that led the Los Angeles Family Services Dept. to place the children under their grandmother’s custody.

Guerrero didn’t have either her husband’s or the grandmother’s permission to take the children, all with ages from 6 years to 21 months, out of the county or state, the Sheriff’s Office said.

The now fugitive had agreed to meet with, and hand over the children to their grandmother at a park last Friday, but never showed up.

The Carson County Sheriff’s Office asks citizens to cooperate with any information in the case by calling (800) 830-1123 and (800) 222-8477.
