Scattered showers, high temperatures will continue

Santo Domingo.- A tropical wave southwest of Haiti moving away from the country and a trough north of the island will bring scattered showers and thunderstorms for the Northeast, Southeast, Central Mountains and border area Wednesday afternoon.

The National Meteorology Office also forecasts few changes during the next 48 hours, when the scattered showers will continue.

It said the seasonably high temperatures and the prevailing southeast wind will continue, and recommends drinking plenty of fluids.
