Tropical wave brings downpours

Santo Domingo.- The National Meteorology Office (ONAMET) forecasts downpours with thunderstorms across much of the country from an active tropical wave.

It said the wave over the East region will also bring rain to the Northeast, Southeast and the Caribbean coast, spreading to other locations as it moves west.

Meteorology said urban flooding is probable in some Caribbean coastal cities, since most of the cloud mass is over the Caribbean Sea.
