DT readers not sure what the opposition party should do in wake of defeat

Santo Domingo.- Dominican Today readers disagree evenly as to the next steps the opposition PRD party should take in the aftermath of the electoral defeat in the May 20 polls.

When asked “What should the opposition PRD party do next?,” 9,136 readers or 25.03% of the votes said “Step up the pressure to help citizens,” followed by the response “Be quiet for 2 years until next election,” with 9,128 votes, or 25.00%.

Dead even at 9,121 votes were the responses “Focus only on in-house reorganizing,” and “Sit tight until Medina takes office,” or 24.98% of the readers who took part in the weekly unscientific survey.
