After Isaac; widely scattered showers, thunderstorms

Santo Domingo.- The National Meteorology Office (Onamet) forecasts fewer rains with widely scattered showers and thunderstorms for the Southeast, Central Mountains and the border area.

It said most flash flood warnings have been discontinued, and notes that it’s likely they’ll be lifted for all regions later today.

Onamet adds that an area of ??low pressure associated with a tropical wave around 880 miles west-southwest of the Cape Verde Islands, has a 40% chance of developing in the next 48 hours.
