Medina’s first trip abroad since taking office; UN General Assembly
Santo Domingo. – President Danilo Medina will travel to New York September 21 to participate in the 67th UN General Assembly, his first trip abroad since taking office August 16.
According to sources, Medina would fly out of Las Americas International Airport that Friday afternoon, but the National Palace has yet to disclose the president’s agenda,.
Medina is slated to meet with UN Secretary General Ban Ki Moon, in addition to several bilateral meetings in N.Y.
