Showers in the interior, mostly sunny elsewhere

Santo Domingo.- Showers and possibly thunderstorms are forecast for Friday and the weekend over the Central Mountains and border area.

The Meteorology Office (Onamet) said the East, South, Southwest, Northwest and Samana Bay will be mostly sunny today and the weekend.

Surf along the Caribbean and Atlantic coast is normal, with no restrictions for small craft.
