The President, VP declare middle-class wealth

Santo Domingo.- President Danilo Medina is worth RD$21.6 million, as stated in his financial statement filed September 13, while vice president Margarita Cedeño declared RD$23.7 million.

Medina’s statement reveals he has a bank account, vehicles, an apartment and a lot.

Cedeño stated having two apartments, and accounts both in US dollars and Dominican pesos.

In the months leading to the May 20 elections, an attorney from Santiago affirmed that the now vice president had more than US$53.0 million in an European bank account.
