Tropical wave brings showers, thunderstorms

Santo Domingo.- A tropical wave located over Haiti moving west will bring humidity and instability to Dominican territory, sparking showers and thunderstorms, especially in Wednesday afternoon to the southeast, Central Mountainls and the border area.

The National Meteorological Office, ONAMET, forecasts that the rainfall will not be as intense as yesterday, while an upper level trough will generate cloudiness.

It adds that there’ll be no significant changes in rainfall, but scattered showers could occur during the next 24 to 48 hours.
