Tropical wave brings showers

Santo Domingo.- For the rest of today and part of tomorrow the National Meteorological Office (Onamet) forecasts scattered showers from a tropical wave lingering over the western portion of the island.

It said showers accompanied by strong winds and thunderstorms are expected Friday afternoon, mostly along the Caribbean coast, less frequent over the Northeast, Southeast and Central Mountains.

The Onamet added that temperatures will remain seasonably warm with high humidity.
