Francina Hungria’s relatives receive threatening calls
Santo Domingo.– Relatives of Francina Hungria, a robbery victim who lost sight in her right eye, reported Friday they have received threatening calls from strangers asking to communicate with family members.
Nelson Hungria, the victim’s uncle, said the calls were made last Thursday and the caller (a male voice) said he was calling from jail. The caller also "suggested" the family to stop asking for the criminals to be lynched.
"By denouncing this, the ones behind the threatening calls now know the authorities are investigating," said the family’s lawyer, Jose Martinez Brito.
