Former president to distribute Christmas dinner boxes

Santo Domingo.– Former President Leonel Fernandez will distribute Christmas dinner boxes on Sunday, as the president of the Dominican Liberation Party (PLD).

Annia Valdez, communications director of the Global Foundation for Democracy and Development (FUNGLODE), said Fernandez will start distributing the boxes at 10 am at the Presidential Office in the Zona Universitaria area.

Communications secretary Hector Olivo said the boxes were purchased with funds from the PLD, but so far there’s no information on the number of boxes or amount invested.
