Young girl rescued from car trunk

SantoDomingo.- Police have rescued a young woman who was being transported in a car trunk bytwo men and another minor.

The 15-year old was freed yesterday after apatrol in the province of San Cristóbal stopped a Toyota Camry car driven by Miguel Antonio Ceballos Rojas,27, Adonis Ceballos Rojas, 25, and another minor whose name was withheld forlegal reasons.

The patrol members acted after hearing someone shouting for help from insidethe vehicle. After searching it they found the young woman in the trunk.

The arrested men, who live in La Caleta in BocaChica, were sent to justice and investigators are looking into the role of theother minor who was travelling with the accused, according to the Police.

The authorities are contactingrelatives to reunite them with the rescued minor.
