Sunny, higher temps for next 24 hours

Santo Domingo.- The National Meteorology Office (ONAMET) forecasts low probability of showers, from the effects of a high pressure system and the east-southeast wind.

It said the high pressure system will remain in effect for the rest of the week, “so that rain will be minimal.”

It said the temperature will increase significantly.

Onamet issued advisories on higher than normal waves during the next 24 hours, during which small craft should remain in port along the Atlantic coast, and should sail near shore in Samana Bay.
