Mostly sunny skies, coastal advisory in effect

Santo Domingo.- The National Meteorology Office forecasts mostly sunny skies and low probability of rainfall Thursday, as the high pressure system continues north of the country,.

It said however that the east -southeast wind could drag widely scattered showers in the afternoon, for the Northeast, Southeast, Southwest and Central Mountains.

It said the weather pattern will continue during the next 24 to 48 hours.

Meteorology adds that small craft should sail near shore along the Atlantic and Caribbean coasts and Samana Bay, on higher than normal waves.
