Closed-door meeting as Puerto Rican kingpin revelations roil political sector

Santo Domingo.- Just two days after money laundering convict Sobeida Felix’s revelations roiled the country’s political sector, her lawyer Felix Portes is holding a closed door meeting with National District prosecutor Yeni B. Reynoso, at the Ciudad Nueva Courthouse.

Portes told reporters that he’ll talk about the meeting when it’s over, and declined providing details of the topic.

Felix had accused the Justice Ministry of violating the plea bargaining agreement with former National District prosecutor Alejandro Moscoso.

According to the local media, the lawyers for Felix’s paramour, the Puerto Rican Jose Figueroa Agosto are also taking part in the meeting.
