Widely scattered showers, mild temps, rough Atlantic surf continue

Santo Domingo.- A trough over the Windward Channel and a northeast wind will bring widely scattered showers to the North, Northeast, Southeast, Southwest and Central regions, the Meteorology Office (ONAMET) forecast Tuesday.
It said a moderate to strong wind is causing nine foot waves and higher offshore along the Atlantic coast, where small craft should remain in port.
Meteorology also cautions residents in low-lying areas of the north coast, of possible flooding.
It adds that temperatures will continue seasonably mild, from the prevailing northeast wind.
