Minor tremor shakes southeastern region

Santo Domingo.– A minor 3.4-magnitude tremor on the scale of Richter shook the southeastern region at 7:08 p.m. Friday, according to the U.S. Geodetic Survey’s (USGS) Web site. No injuries or damages were reported.

The USGS placed the epicenter around 41 km SSE of Boca de Yuma, 62 km S of Punta Cana, 69 km SE of La Romana and 168 km ESE of Santo Domingo, at a depth of 96 km.
