Mostly sunny weekend; small craft advisories along north coast

Santo Domingo.- The National Meteorology Office (ONAMET) forecasts partly cloudy skies for the North, Northeast and Central regions and an approaching frontal system that will bring widely scattered showers in the afternoon.

It said there’ll be a significant decrease in rainfall Saturday from a high pressure system over the Caribbean, and will continue throughout the weekend.

“Advisories have been issued for small craft to remain in port this weekend, because of very dangerous waves along the entire northern coast,” it said.
