Still no rain, high north coast surf, mild temps

Santo Domingo.- The National Meteorology Office (ONAMET) forecasts that the lower than normal temperatures will continue as a result of the prevailing northeast wind.

It said the low probability of rains will continue, as a high pressure system over the Atlantic Ocean limiting cloud formations.

ONAMET said the surf is still higher than normal along the Atlantic coast, for which small craft should remain in port, while residents in low-lying areas areas should be alert to coastal flooding, and cautions swimmers in area beaches.
