Priests criticize JCE and Profamilia

Santo Domingo.– Priests who delivered the Sermon of the Seven Words raised their voice against government corruption and its decision to prioritize public investment that leads to a modern Metro when the country is facing hunger and poverty.

They also demanded the defense of natural resources from foreign investment, and criticized Profamilia’s advertising campaign that encourages condom use among minors as well as the practice of abortion.

In addition, the priests lashed out at the Central Electoral Board for failing to provide identity cards to more than 20,000 Dominicans of Haitian origin.
