Another drug case with Dominican show biz figures

Santo Domingo.- The Supreme Court’s 2nd Chamber on Thursday ruled to extradite to the United States Ricardo Bernabel Almonte, son of bachata singer and ex drug convict José Arismendy Almonte (Joselito.com), wanted in that country on drug trafficking charges.

The court however ruled against the prosecution’s request to yo confiscate ??Bernabel Almonte’s assets and properties.

The case is the latest marring Dominican show business figures, and include urban singer Vakero and former Latin American Idol winner Martha Heredia.
