Medina to meet with Obama in Costa Rica May 1
Santo Domingo. – President Danilo Medina will travel to Costa Rica on May 1 where he’ll meet with U.S. president Barack Obama.
Medina will travel to the Central American nation to take part in the Summit of the Central American Integration System (SICA), of which Dominican Republic is a member.
On April 26 Medina will also travel to Haiti to attend the Summit of Heads of State and Government of the Association of Caribbean States (ACS).
Foreign minister Carlos Morales made the announcement after a Friday morning meeting with the President and U.S. government officials in the National Palace.
