Officials to exhume 1965 Revolution hero’s remains tomorrow

Santo Domingo.- The ministers of Justice Francisco Dominguez and of Culture Jose Antonio Rodriguez will head the exhumation of 1965 Revolution hero Francisco A. Caamaño at the Maximo Gomez Av. Cemetery tomorrow Wednesday.

At 10am the officials, accompanied by a team of forensic and DNA experts and anthropologists will seek to determine if the remains resting there are Caamaño’s.

Caamaño was inducted into the country’s National Pantheon in a solemn ceremony headed by president Danilo Medina on April 24, marking the 4 8th anniversary of the Revolution.
