Scattered showers, thunderstorms for Wednesday

SANTO DOMINGO.- For Wednesday the National Meteorology Office forecasts scattered showers with thunderstorms mostly during the afternoon, as a high pressure system moves away from the country.

It said the rains resulting from the humidity dragged by the prevailing east-southeast wind will be more intense over the Northeast, Southeast, Southwest and Central Mountains.

It also forecasts widely scattered showers and thunderstorms for Thursday.
