On Social Security Treasury’s warning, 3,800 employers pay debts

Santo Domingo.-The visits to companies by Labor Ministry inspectors have prompted around 3,800employers to update their accounts with the Social Security Treasury (TSS), affirmedtreasurer Henry Sadhalá on Monday.

He said employersare warned to pay up to avoid going to court.

He saidemployers have 60 days to correct their financial obligation, or face beingsent to the TSS legal department.

Sadhalá saidLabor Ministry inspectors have caused fewer evasions, "which has helped increaserevenue somewhat," as high as 12% each year.
