Widely scattered showers in the afternoon, evening

Santo Domingo.- A low pressure system over the northern part of the country will cause widely scattered showers and thunderstorms for Monday afternoon and evening, mostly for the southeast, southwest, central mountains and along the border.

The National Meteorology Office (ONAMET) said the showers will be mostly over San Juan, Elías Piña, Pedernales, San José de Ocoa, Peravia, Barahona, Azua, San Cristobal, Monseñor Noel, La Vega, Santiago, Bahoruco and Monte Plata provinces.

It said the system’s cloud remnants will unleash the scattered showers in the afternoon and evening, during the next 48 hours.
