Partly cloudy skies, scattered showers

Santo Domingo. – The trough over the country continues to dominate Dominican Republic’s weather, with partly cloudy skies from the prevailing east-northeast wind.

The Meteorology Office (Onamet) forecasts increasing cloudiness with scattered showers Wednesday afternoon and early evening, especially over the North, Northeast, Southeast, Central Mountains and border region.

For the next 48 to 72 hours Onamet forecasts that the showers will continue over much of the Dominican territory, mostly over the Central Mountains and border region.
