Flash flood warnings issued for two eastern provinces

Santo Domingo.- The National Meteorology Office (Onamet)on Thursday issued flash flood and mudslide warnings for eastern Hato Mayor andEl Seibo provinces, where rivers could crest their banks.

It said the downpours of the last 48 hours will continue,from a trough located over the northern part of the country and the prevailing northeastwind.

Onamet said it will rain over all regions except the Northwest,during the late afternoon and early evening.
