Bail set at RD$2.0M for TV mogul in battery case

Santo Domingo.- The National District 3rd Court of Appeals on Tuesday set bail at RD$2.0 million for the release of TV mogul Frank Jorge, accused of domestic violence by his wife Sandra Kurdas.

The ruling by Judges Manuel Bonelli, Isis Muñiz and Nancy Joaquin also bans Jorge from leaving the country and periodic visits to the National District Office of the Prosecutor.

The accused is also under a restraining order and cannot come coming within 500 meters of Kurdas, and must vacate the residence where they lived.
