Scattered showers continue; flash flood warning for Santo Domingo

Santo Domingo.- Scattered showers and thunderstorms will continue today as a trough over the country moves slowly eastward, the Meteorology Office (ONAMET) forecast Wednesday.

It said the rains will be more frequent over the northwest, northeast, southeast, central mountain range and border area, during the next 24 to 48 hours.

Onamet issued urban flood warnings for Greater Santo Domingo, with increasing cloudiness and scattered showers, with temperatures ranging from a low of 23 º C to a high of 32 ° C.
