Approaching tropical wave brings scattered showers

Santo Domingo.-The National Meteorology Office on Thursday forecasts increasing cloudiness and scattered showers over much of the country on an approaching tropical wave and trough.

It said the rains will be accompanied by thunderstorms and gusty winds over the Northeast, Southeast, Southwest, Central Mountains and the border area.

Meteorology said the tropical wave moves westward and is already affecting the western part of the country.

It said those conditions will continue over the next 24 to 48 hours, with a high temperature of 32 degrees C and a low of 23 degrees C.
