Intelligence is the key in the war on crime; new Police chief

Santo Domingo.- National Police Manuel Castro on Sunday said preemptive intelligence resources will be used in the war on crime, as part of the police reform set forth by the authorities.

He said what has been called New of Police Management Model will be implemented, which seeks a more efficient use of police resources to conduct its mission.

Castro, in a visit to El Dia newspaper editor-in-chief Rafael Molina Morillo and his assistant Jose Monegro, added that intelligence is an effective tool to combat crime.
