Medina swears in education minister, telecom chief, other officials

Santo Domingo.- President Danilo Medina on Monday swore in the new Education minister Carlos Amarante, new Dominican Telecomm Institute (lNDOTEL) president Gedeon Santos and other officials designated on Friday.
In a National Palace ceremony, Medina also administered the oath to the new State Sugar Council (CEA) director José Joaquin Dominguez, among other officials.
The president also swore in Fernando Reyes, a new member of the Dominican Petroleum Refinery’s Board of Directors.
