Scattered showers Monday, tapering off Tuesday

Santo Domingo.- The National Meteorology Office (Onamet) forecasts scattered showers early Monday morning and said it expects will spread nationwide, starting in the eastern region and Caribbean coast,.

It said a high level trough over the central portion of the country will increase precipitation Monday afternoon, more intense over the, Northeast and central regions.

It adds that the showers will taper off Tuesday, but a trough approaching from Puerto Rico could bring significant rains on Wednesday.
