PLD senators want to meet with Danilo Medina

Santo Domingo.– PLD senators spokesman Jose Maria Sosa said Friday that his bloc requested a meeting with President Danilo Medina to address the exclusion of works in several provinces in the 2014 Budget.

Jovanny Tejada (PRD-Santiago) warned at the Chamber of Deputies that lawmakers of his party will not vote for the draft, because despite his province accounts for 12% of GDP, it has not been assigned one percent of the budget.

PLD deputies spokesman Ruben Maldonado suggested a meeting between lawmakers and provincial governors, to agree on priorities for works.
