Scattered showers continue today, Friday

Santo Domingo.- The national weather office (Onamet) forecasts continuing scattered showers and thunderstorms nationwide, from a trough over the country

It said all regions can expect some precipitation, except the East.

The showers will continue over much of the Dominican Republic Friday, especially the Northeast, Southeast, Central Mountains and border area, with seasonably high temperatures, from the prevailing southeast win.

Onamet said flash flood warnings are still in effect for La Altagracia, La Romana, San Pedro, Santo Domingo, Monte Plata, Santiago, Hermanas Mirabal and Espaillat provinces.
