Cloudy skies Monday, scattered showers Tuesday

Santo Domingo.- The National Weather Office (Onamet) forecasts mostly cloudy skies over the country and said it expects it to continue in the afternoon.

It forecasts showers with thunderstorm over the East, Northeast and central regions, from a trough over the country’s northwest, decreasing tonight.

Onamet adds that the rains will increase tomorrow afternoon over the East, Northeast, the Caribbean coast and Central Mountains, from a tropical wave which will bring moderate downpours through Wednesday night.
