Dominicans fest Boston World Series win, Big Papi MVP

Boston.- World Series game was easily won by the Boston Red Sox 6 to 1 and Dominican born slugger David Ortiz took Most Valuable Players honors.

Throughout Dominican Republic Wednesday night fans squeezed into bars and colmados cheering mostly for Boston and Ortiz.

Ortiz rallied his team to the big win with a powerful speech in the dugout just before the sixth inning of Sunday’s 4.

The “Big Papi can” said the award was really won by the city and people of Boston, whose team has won three World Series in the last 10 years.
