Downpours, cooler temps continue through Saturday

Santo Domingo.- The National Meteorology Office (Onamet) on Friday forecasts continuing downpours and thunderstorms, mostly over the Northeast, Southeast, Southwest and Central Mountains.

In said the rains are the result of two troughs, one still over the national territory and a second one southeast of the country.

Ornament said the downpours will continue over most of the country on Saturday, more frequent for the Northeast, Southeast and Central Mountains.

Temperatures will be lower than normal until early morning and at night, with a high of 31 degrees C and a low of 22 C for Greater Santo Domingo.
