Police colonel with rap sheet in Massachusetts linked to 13 murders

San Cristobal, Dominican Republic.- San Cristóbal district prosecutor Diomeris Soto on Sunday said the investigation continues into National Police Lt. Col. Johan Liriano’s alleged links to a ring of hired killers suspected of 13 murders, headed by the fugitive Solomon Eusebio Rosario (aka) Piki. “We can’t stop what we’re doing until we have concluded the investigation."

"We’re investigating the case which happened here in San Cristobal, in that regard we’ve been investigating the colonel and haven’t stopped, for us to investigate we don’t have to have them arrested," she said.

According to the National Police, the group of alleged hired killers operated out of a La Romana (east) “command center,” to murder and collect extortion from drug traffickers and money launders.

Liriano’s case surfaced when the Police uncovered a major cocaine processing lab near San Cristobal, and it was also learned that he has a rap sheet in Massachusetts.
